Men in Bhutan wear a belted knee length robe whereas women wear ankle length dresses, belted at the waist. Law of Bhutan requires people to wear their national costumes in all public places, especially during the festivals.
Etiquettes in the country are very much important, with a government looking after the standards and essentials of eating, clothing etc. Two main languages of Bhutan are- Sharchop and Dzongkha. Both of them are related to the Tibetan language, while Bhutanese art is linked to Tibetan art.
