Planning for a week’s trip to Bhutan, but don’t really know how to do it? Well to begin let’s face the fact that Bhutan is a country rich with heritage and culture. Although it is a very small one as compared to the others in the South Asian region, this country’s economy largely depends on the tourism sector that is uplifted by the entire population of the world. Talking of tourism, the transport sector is also an add on to this as without a proper mode of transport you cannot really explore any place. The Bhutan car rental services are very cooperative when it comes to serving the tourists and travellers.
Below is a brief plan to help you with your 5 day trip to Bhutan
Day 1:
You can book a cab from the Bhutan car rental services, after arriving at New Jalpaiguri or New Alipurduar and start you journey for Phuentsholing. If you are taking the airways to travel then also you can book a cab that can pick you up from the Bagdogra airport in Siliguri and start off straight for Bhutan. By the late afternoon you are supposed to reach Phuentsholing where you get all the permits for your visit.
Day 2:
On the second day of your journey you can start with exploring the Paro Valley and the National Heritage museum and Rinpung Dzong which is a wonderful monastery to gather positive vibes and have a peaceful time spent there. The Nation Heritage Museum offers a splendid presentation of Bhutan’s rich cultural and ethnic heritage. After visiting these two places you can begin the trek for the Paro Taktsang Monastery often called the Tiger’s Nest.
Day 3:
On the third day of your visit you can move to Thimphu which is the capital of Bhutan and do a city tour for the entire day and explore the city’s beautiful architecture. The place is known for all the administrative centres that are present there. You can also do some shopping from Thimphu as you can get exquisite items that are only made and found in Bhutan.
Day 4:
On the third day after your elaborate expeditions, you can start your journey back to Phuentsholing, where you can visit the nearby places on the way. The entire journey can be done with the Bhutan car rental services as the drivers and the guides provided by them are very much experienced in these areas.
Day 5:
The last day of you entire journey is going to be short as you would have to return back to your respective or airport to board your mode of transport back to home.
